3D Teacup...

After recently telling someone about my quilled teacup, I thought I would post it here, since they were interested in seeing it.  I made this back in 2006, again for a design team project. I was quite pleased with how it had turned out. The colors were teal and brick, and I think they were Paplin's papers. I used a small teacup as my mold for it. I think the first 3D quilled teacup & saucer I saw was made by Pat Caputo. I thought it was just stunning! I was so amazed by it, and loved the detail. Since I saw hers posted online, I have seen quite a few, many being very beautiful. Mine is very simplistic in detail compared to hers, and other's that I have seen. I have not yet made a saucer...but maybe someday........

Wow this is stunning. I've always wanted to try my hand at making a teacup after seeing Pam's one.. but never had. Simple is good for me too... lovely design.

Thank you Pam. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be...maybe because I didn't put a specific flower pattern in it... I havea small teacup that my grandmother had given me, when I was just 4 years old, which works great.

Your teacup is amazing! I too have wanted to try one but alas my idea sits there. Thank you for the inspiration to give it a go!
